Grant Aid for Research

Grant aid for research supports research activities into various problems affecting　developing countries, and supports research and development and commercialization of new technologies for products intended for developing countries.

JICS' Role

There is not the project that JICS has been carrying out.

Since FY2001 to FY2009, in accordance with contracts with the governments of developing countries, JICS has been managing grant aid provided for research and development activities, and offering coordination and support to ensure that activities among researchers and manufacturers in Japan and developing countries are carried out smoothly.
