Loan Aid

Loan Aid (ODA Loan) involves the loan of development funds to recipient countries under such concessionary conditions as long repayment periods and low interest rates. This mode of aid aims to nurture ownership of the development process within the borrowing country by promoting the efficient use of loan funds and appropriate execution of projects.

Based on contracts with JICA, JICS has experience in such areas as carrying out checks of procurement-related documentation prepared by recipient countries to confirm whether or not the documentation complies with guidelines, Ex-Post Procurement Audits on procurement procedures, and studies aimed at facilitating the smooth implementation of Loan Aid projects.
