Upon request from the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office (WPRO), JICS dispatched one of the staff members to WPRO as a short term consultant.

WPRO collects information related to the Great East Japan Earthquake, including human impacts, healthcare facilities, health issues, infrastructure, nuclear power plant, food security, and contamination of seawater, soil and air, and issues "Situation Report".

The Situation Report is on the WPRO website and plays important role to convey what is happening in Japan to the world.
